The literature of migrations in Italy: a geographical perspective 

This work aims at analysing the representations of Italy as they are re-created by the so-called migrant writers. Moving from the theoretical frame of postcolonial studies, the paper deals with some migrant writers whose works are focused on the relationship with Otherness, in order to explore the fictional and symbolic geo-graphies of migratory flows, transnational diasporas and integration issues in Italy.
